Material Inspection: Check the specifications, models, and quantities of V0PP flame-retardant air ducts and related accessories to ensure they conform to the design requirements. Inspect the surface of the air ducts for defects such as scratches, cracks, and deformations. Also, check whether quality certification documents such as the flame-retardant performance test report are complete.
Preparation of Tools and Equipment: Prepare the tools and equipment required for installation, such as cutting tools, welding equipment, measuring tools, and hoisting equipment, and ensure that they are in good performance and can be used normally.
Site Cleaning: Clean the installation site to ensure it is clean, tidy, and free of obstacles, providing sufficient space for construction. At the same time, ensure that the construction site has good ventilation, meeting the requirements of safe operation.
Selection of Connection Method: Select an appropriate connection method, such as flange connection or collar connection, according to factors such as the specifications of the air ducts and the usage environment. When using flange connection, ensure that the size of the flange matches that of the air duct, the positions of the bolt holes are accurate, and the bolts are tightened with uniform force to prevent air leakage. For collar connection, ensure that the collar fits closely with the air duct and has a good seal.
Sealing Treatment: At the connection parts of the air ducts, use sealing rubber strips or sealants for sealing treatment to prevent air leakage. The sealing material should have good weather resistance and corrosion resistance and be compatible with the V0PP material.
Welding Quality Control: For the parts that need welding, such as the splicing parts of square air ducts, the welders should have professional welding skills and operate strictly in accordance with the welding process. Control parameters such as welding temperature and speed to ensure that the welds are full, uniform, and free of defects such as false welding and missed welding. After welding, conduct an appearance inspection and leakage test on the welds, and repair any problems in a timely manner.
Installation Position and Slope: Determine the installation position of the air ducts according to the design requirements to ensure that the distance between the air ducts and other equipment, pipelines, etc. meets the safety and process requirements. For air ducts with drainage requirements, a certain slope should be set to facilitate the smooth discharge of condensed water, etc., and the slope is generally 0.5%-1%.
Hoisting and Support: Select an appropriate hoisting method and support structure according to the weight and size of the air ducts. When hoisting, use qualified slings and riggings to ensure hoisting safety. The support spacing should be reasonable. Generally, for horizontally installed air ducts with a diameter or side length less than 400mm, the support spacing should not exceed 4m; for those greater than 400mm, it should not exceed 3m. For vertically installed air ducts, the support spacing should not exceed 4m, and at least 2 fixed supports should be set for each riser.
Avoid External Force Damage: During the installation process, pay attention to avoiding external force damage to the XICHENG EP air ducts, such as avoiding contact between the air ducts and sharp objects and preventing heavy objects from squeezing. Especially during cross-operation, take protective measures for the air ducts to prevent damage to the air ducts caused by the construction of other work types.
Treatment of Passing through Walls and Floors: When the air ducts need to pass through walls or floors, sleeves should be installed, and the gaps between the sleeves and the air ducts should be sealed with non-combustible materials, such as fireproof rock wool and fireproof putty, to prevent the spread of smoke through the gaps in case of a fire.
Air Leakage Test: After the installation is completed, conduct an air leakage test on the air duct system. The positive pressure or negative pressure test method can be used to check the airtightness of the air duct system. The test pressure should meet the relevant standard requirements. For example, the air leakage rate of low-pressure system air ducts should not exceed 5%, that of medium-pressure systems should not exceed 3%, and that of high-pressure systems should not exceed 1%.
Performance Debugging: Debug the performance parameters of the ventilation system, such as air volume, wind speed, and wind pressure, to ensure that the system operation meets the design requirements. By adjusting components such as dampers and air outlets, make the air volume distribution of each air outlet uniform and meet the ventilation requirements of the using place.
