What is a hydrochloric acid scrubber system?

Hydrochloric Acid Scrubbers Scrubber systems are pollution control machines that filter contaminants from air streams and products. When you implement an HCl fume scrubber system in your production line, the reactants neutralize the acid gas and reduce acid gas levels to acceptable levels that are no longer a threat to the environment. Hydrochloric acid fume scrubber systems withstand corrosive atmospheres with low pressure drop and are suitable for the following industries and applications:

When polluted air enters a hydrochloric acid fume scrubber system, fine droplets of scrubbing fluid come into contact with the gas. The clean air is sent back to the environment, and the scrubbing liquid can be recycled and reused until a specific saturation point is reached.


Hydrochloric acid scrubber system process

The hydrochloric acid mist waste gas in the production workshop is collected through the hood, and then enters the alkali scrubbing tower through the pipeline. The alkali washing tower is equipped with a two-layer packing layer and is equipped with a secondary filter device. Sodium hydroxide (hereinafter referred to as alkali) is added to the circulating pool to neutralize the acid mist in the exhaust gas. The secondary spray tower device fully meets the emission standards.


The two-layer packing layer is placed in the tower body and is equipped with a secondary high-pressure water bath device. After the secondary spray device is cleaned, the clean air is discharged through the water filter device.


The Hydrochloric acid scrubber system is a dust collector that can fully absorb dusty gas and water. The acid mist scrubber has a simple structure and is mainly composed of a main body, an air inlet pipe, an exhaust pipe, a nozzle, a packing layer, a dosing device, a water source (pool) and a water bath circulation system.


It is a dust removal device that can increase the moisture content of a specific container, change the direction of the airflow, reduce the airflow speed, make it mix well with the dust gas, increase the dust/gas ratio, adhere to neutralize and separate the dust from the air.
