Combustion method: The method of degrading flammable malodorous substances through a strong oxidation reaction is suitable for treating high-concentration, small-volume flammable malodorous substances. The decomposition efficiency is high, but the equipment is corrosive, consumes fuel, has increased costs, and secondary pollution may be generated during the treatment. The chemical oxidation method uses an oxidant to oxidize malodorous substances. It is suitable for the treatment of medium and low-concentration malodorous gases. The treatment efficiency is high, but an oxidant is required, and the processing cost is high. The absorption method uses a solvent to absorb the malodorous substances in the odor and deodorizes the gas. High- and medium-concentration malodorous gases are treated with effective flow rates and mature processes. Still, the treatment efficiency is not high, the absorbent is consumed, and pollutants are only transferred from the gas phase to the liquid phase.

Principle of biological deodorization: In the presence of water, microorganisms, and oxygen, microorganisms' metabolism is used to oxidize and decompose odorous substances to achieve the purpose of purifying gas.
