1. Cyclone dust removal makes the dust-containing gas rotate, and uses centrifugal force to separate and trap dust particles from the airflow. This kind of dust collector has a long history, wide application, various types, simple structure, no moving parts, low cost, convenient maintenance and management; the dust removal efficiency is generally about 85%, and its separable particle size is large, and it can only be used for high temperature dust removal. Pretreatment.
2. Wet dust removal The dust particles are separated from the air flow by the inertial collision of water droplets and dust particles and other effects when the dust-containing gas is in contact with water or other liquids. Its outstanding advantage is that it can purify harmful gases at the same time; but it is prone to secondary pollution, high energy consumption, long process for high-temperature dust removal, complicated operation, and high operating cost, so this method is rarely used.
3. Electrostatic dust removal Utilize a high-voltage power supply and a pair of electrodes (discharge electrode and dust collecting plate) to generate an uneven electric field to separate and trap dust in the airflow. The electrostatic precipitator efficiency can reach 90%~99.6%, the average particle size of the captured dust particles is 5μm, and the pressure loss is low. However, the one-time investment and operating costs are high. For high-temperature dusty flue gas, it needs to have a stable corona charge under high-pressure conditions. There are also problems such as the specific resistance of the dust and the sensitivity of the gas composition and the corrosion of the electrode. Dust-containing gas also has the problem of explosion caused by electric sparks.
4. Filtration and dust removal Make the dust-containing air flow through the filter material to separate and collect the dust. The particle layer dust collector that uses cheap sand, gravel, coke and other particles as the filter material is eye-catching in the removal of high-temperature exhaust gas. The dust removal efficiency of filter dust removal can be as high as 99%. The bag filter adopting high temperature resistant fiber fabric as filter material is widely used in dust removal of industrial exhaust gas.
