Characteristics and treatment methods of laboratory exhaust gas

Characteristics of laboratory exhaust gas:

The laboratory is scattered, small displacement, discontinuous, and has not attracted enough attention. In fact, the laboratory has various types of pollution, high concentration and strong toxicity, and the general location of the laboratory is in the university or downtown area, which is closer to us , Governance is difficult.

Methods of laboratory exhaust gas treatment:

(1) Combustion methods include high-temperature combustion and catalytic combustion. The former requires additional fuel combustion. Therefore, when using this method, it is necessary to consider the recovery and utilization of heat energy. Catalytic combustion has low energy consumption, but in the early stage of work, electric heating is required to heat the exhaust gas. Burning temperature, so it is not suitable for occasions with frequent start and stop Considering that the heat recovered by the high-temperature combustion method exceeds the heat energy required for production, it is not appropriate. The direct use of catalytic combustion has too much investment.

(2) Condensation method The cold medium is mainly used to treat high-temperature organic waste gas steam, which can effectively recover solvents. The treatment effect is related to the temperature of the refrigerant, the treatment efficiency is relatively lower than other methods, and it is suitable for the treatment of high-concentration exhaust gas.

(3) The odor control system activated carbon adsorption method adopts porous activated carbon or activated carbon fiber to adsorb organic waste gas. After saturation, it is regenerated with low-pressure steam. During regeneration, the solvent exhaust gas is condensed and water separated to recover the solvent. It is suitable for discontinuous treatment processes, especially for low-concentration organic The solvent recovery in the exhaust gas has a good effect.

(4) The wet scrubber absorption method uses appropriate absorbents (such as diesel, kerosene, water, etc.) to absorb in the spray absorption tower, and after absorption reaches a certain concentration, the solvent is separated from the absorption liquid, solvent recovery, and absorption The key to using this method is the choice of absorbent.

The above is a summary of the characteristics and treatment methods of laboratory waste gas. Different laboratories produce different types of waste gas, and their corresponding waste gas treatment methods are also different, and it is necessary to communicate with professional technicians. As a professional manufacturer of waste gas treatment equipment, Xicheng Environmental Protection can provide you with more professional waste gas treatment solutions.
